Discussion about prebuilt gaming pcs under $2000
RJ Black
As someone who is new to getting into the PC game, I found this prebuilt gaming pc for around $2000 CAD which is just hitting around my budget. It also has Nvidia geforce rtx 3070 which is something i am looking for since anything higher is way too expensive for my price range at the moment.
That being said are all the other specs decent for a $2000 prebuilt??
What are your thoughts??
I am a youtuber so will be mostly using this to play games and stream and edit my videos for upload and this was listed as a Streaming Plus PC and supposedly able to run most if not all games at well over the 100 FPS mark at 1080p
In my opinion it is not the best obviously but probably a pretty decent starter computer for me but want to get some clarification and opinions on this build.

H510 inside is like ><

so what does that mean in the long run?? Overheating? Impact on fps and performance or what?

It’s not bad for the price with the way the market currently is
Justin Ferrell Reply RJ Black
i wouldnt pick that case, but otherwise great spec, ask them if they will change it
RJ Black Reply Justin Ferrell
hopefully they can. I just seen "Streamer Plus PC" under prebuilds on website and it seemed to fit what I am looking for but there is no customization options just a "buy it as it is" sort of thing so I would have to contact customer support on the website and inquire about a case change and hope its possible. I imagine they have their own cases. Are you familiar with NZXT cases? Any you would suggest??
Justin Ferrell Reply RJ Black
not reallyone I could recommend I prefer fractal, antec or Corsair, much better cooling. Even some.of the real budget cases I have tried are better than nzxt
RJ Black Reply Justin Ferrell
alright. I found this pc on nzxt so i imagine most of their cases are of their own but i will definitely look into your advice.
Justin Ferrell Reply RJ Black
gotcha, check out Gamers Nexus on YouTube, he does extensive case testing, look for one with good airflow that you like the look of, all other considerations are secondary imho.
RJ Black Reply Justin Ferrell
alright. Also just to clarify this is just something i found on NZXT website but it doesnt have to be from them i am taking all my options into consideration but either way i am looking for something around $2300 CAD that uses geforce rtx 3070 and can do gaming/streaming/video editing software and graphicals so if you have any suggestions what the best PC or website is i am all ears lol
Chris Keay Reply RJ Black
Now then. Probably more worth 1500 but with todays crazy market and a lack of GPUs I'd say its probably fair.

Ask them if they can change the ram to 3600mhz sticks aswell it’s like £20 more expensive
Neill Levingstone Reply RJ Black
If you don't want to or if you can't build a system it's probably not too bad. But build it yourself you would save money for sure.
James Thomas Reply RJ Black
It's all pretty decent. Facts to consider: That CPU likes high RAM clocks, 3600mhz+ is ideal for that asking price. And the case, although aesthetically pleasing, doesn't have the best airflow.

That PSU worries me.
RJ Black Reply Cody DoomTiger Smith
i know nothing about PCs lol the last pc i owned was like 15 years ago or so when i owned an old acer aspire laptop, so some more insight into the whys and hows of your statement would be appreciated lol.
Cody DoomTiger Smith Reply RJ Black
it's a 650 watt Bronze Power Supply, You would prefer a 750-850 gold/platinum PSU. just to be safe. Your whole rig is gonna use alot of juice, Also if you ever wanted to add anything the more wattage would help.
RJ Black Reply Cody DoomTiger Smith
ah okay gotcha. This was not a custom build or anything, i just seen Stream Plus PC under the prebuilds category and thought it seemed to fit what i was looking for but all the specs listed in this picture are just whatever the website put into this prebuilt. I wonder if i should just use the custom builder and put in the same specs apart from the 3 specs people suggest i change. I am sure doing it that way will work out the same way lol
Pablo Chavarria Reply RJ Black
Get this for 1800
RJ Black Reply Pablo Chavarria
looks cool but you would have to take my currency into consideration. I am Canadian so your 1800 might be like 2500 for me depending on the exchange rates of whatever currency your 1800 is in. If its USD then CAD will be more expensive by an extra 300 or so
Jesse Hernandez Reply RJ Black
Pretty good but the case and PSU is something that I would swap out
RJ Black Reply Jesse Hernandez
any suggestions?? This is on that NZXT website so keep in mind alot of cases are probably NZXT and as for PSU i have no clue what they have lol these specs were all for a prebuilt listed as a STREAMER PLUS PC so this is just whatever was already put into that specific build
Kim Andrew Miramontes Reply RJ Black
It's a very good price it just needs a few later upgrades like gold PSU, better cooler, and slightly faster ram. but other than that its good given the current market and it will run nonetheless
Alex Garcia Reply Kim Andrew Miramontes
I never had a problem for with the aio. I had put it into my brothers pc and he’s never reached above 70. On the other hand I didn’t overclock it so that could be taken into consideration
Alex Garcia Reply RJ Black
The cpu and gpu are a great pairing but I’d try to find ram running at 3600mhz and increase battery supply to 750w just to have a little bit of play room. I’d also suggest getting a cheap mesh panel case since you will be using cpu heavy software as nzxt case are huge on suffocating airflow
Aie Zat Reply RJ Black
You probably want to go for 750w PSU in case you want to upgrade other parts in the future.

Sweet deal I would say.. but check reviews before you buy so that you are sure this one is the best deal
Tim Wayne Reply RJ Black
Not bad considering the shortages right now. Buy it and welcome to our world.
Ayman Adly El Taher Reply RJ Black
Very reasonable all in all. I would get a 3600MHz CL16 RAM kit instead of the included.
Marshall White Reply RJ Black
Solid build, up the ram to 3200-3600 MHz though and maybe grab additional 2.5” ssd or 3.5” hdd storage for some more high capacity drives. If you’re a YouTuber your videos/edits will chew through that terabyte pretty quick and, with games on top, that means that nvme drive won’t do the trick for long. I would suggest against HDD despite the price/GB appeal simply because the export times would be significantly higher than going with a large SSD.
Victor Rivera Reply RJ Black
Yeah I was ganna say if you can up ram... it’s just fine though. You would enjoy that set up.
Chris Reynolds Reply RJ Black
Might want to check how much IO you have. If your running a steam deck, camLink, multiple cameras, etc you will run out of USB ports quick . Look at an x570 board
Colin McFadzen Reply RJ Black
Try optioning faster ram, ryzen processors are very reliant on faster memory speed for performance
Joseph Monserrat Reply RJ Black
If you go on newegg you can find a 3070 prebuilt for like 1600-1700 depending on processor
James Cannon Reply RJ Black
RAM speed is a little slow for that price, and that case is a oven. But other than that, it looks like a good PC for the price, especially when you take into account the cost of GPUs on the current market.
Phil Kurtz Reply RJ Black
My only issue would be that 650w psu. I would use at least a 750w. Otherwise, it's slightly over priced. But in this market...
