FAQs

Gabe Chapman

Just built my second machine, and I call this one the Stealth Fighter. I built this one for general desktop use, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and iRacing/general gaming too. I’m waiting on the sleeved cables, but got it together and funtional. I ran it through UserBenchmark’s test and compared to what I though was an amazing machine (10900k/Z490/3090), this new machine beats it soundly… The CPU didn’t get past 67°C and the GPU never went past 68°C, so seems to be doing well on thermals too.

What are the best benchmarks out there to measure its capabilities? Also, are there any really good tutorials on the best way to approach overclocking the CPU and the GPU?

OCCT use the Power test and I reckon your CPU will reach 100c which is 👌 ok

Hey guys, so I’m a bit confused.

I have a Ryzen 9 5900x which supports PCIE 4.0. My motherboard is the MSI MPG X570 Pro Gaming Carbon WiFi. And GPU is MSI RTX 3090 in the first PCIE 4.0 slot. I also have a Samsung 980 Pro NVME 4.0 in the system as well. Could I add another one and have another drive at 4.0 speeds? Or is it already at its max?

The 2nd m.2 slot is gen 4 as well

thought so, just wanted to double check

Make sure your motherboard won't take away lanes from your 16x slot if you use both m.2 slots
